Hyline pullets pricing -  $40 at 16 to approx 20 weeks old.

We currently have:

Chick Starter/Crumble (non-medicated) - $37.50 for 20kg, $22.50 for 10kg, $11.50 for 5kg

Pullet Grower pellets - $45 for 25kg

Heritage Layer pellets –$38 for 25kg

Layer Multi – 25kg for $38 – mix of our Heritage Layer pellets plus kibbled maize, barley, wheat and molasses

Layer Multi + Wormer – 25kg for $42.50 (must be fed for 7 consecutive days, nil withholding for eggs)

Breeder Multi - 25kg for $40.50 (preparing the parent birds to lay eggs good enough to hatch)

Epsom Salts (industrial grade) – 25kg bag for $30 (or $3/kg) – great for the garden, sprinkle it around and water it in, it delivers magnesium to the soil, which helps seeds germinate, makes plants grow bushier/greener, produces more flowers, increases chlorophyll production and deters pests, such as slugs.  Its also great in a foot bath for tired aching feet.

Plain Salt – 25kg for $12  (not iodised) - not clean enough for human consumption

Oyster Grit (fine or coarse) $3.50/kg

Shavings - Mooreys (130 litres) - $30

Red Mites –best method of control is:

Exzolt – treatment you put in their water & PoultryDefender sold by a company called BioForce (works best in a dirt floor coop in summer) – now that the weather is getting colder, red mite numbers should reduce.  So something to research for next spring.

Diatomaceous Earth - $24 for 1kg – I prefer to mix it into a paste and paint it on the perches, ends of the perches and into any cracks/corners (less dust then).

Mixed Grain (25kg for $33.50, kibbled maize, barley, wheat & molasses) or 50:50 (25kg for $32.50, kibbled maize and barley) – can be a nice ‘scatter grain’ to keep hens busy.  50:50 can also be fed to horses, calves, sheep etc, for a treat.

Whole Barley (25kg for $35), Kibbled Barley (25kg for 36)

Whole Maize (25kg for $35), Kibbled Maize (25kg for $36)

Whole Wheat (25kg for $35)

Starter Pack from PoultryNZ – contains 300gm Diatomaceous Earth, 500ml Poultry Shield (cleaning spray) and 125ml Leg Spray $40 each. ***NOTE we only have a few of these left at the moment

Sheep/Goat meal - $34.50 for 25kg

Pig meal - $31.50 for 25kg

Calf meal - $33.50 for 25kg
